Norah Swann is a 15-year-old landscape photographer from Western North Carolina. From a young age, she fell in love with the stunning sunrises of the Blue Ridge Mountains on early morning hikes with her mother, drawn to the spectacular wilderness and thrilling encounters with wildlife.  

When she got her first camera at the age of eight, she said, "If I practice a lot, maybe I'll be really good at photography by the time I'm twelve."

She has been obsessed with photography ever since. She uses any spare time that she can find to take advantage of the rapidly changing weather and light of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nature is where she feels most present, relaxed and happy. Every moment she captures in the outdoors reinforces and highlights her love for the wilderness. She hopes her photography inspires others to find joy and enchantment in the natural world.
